New Books: For What It's Worth...

Books, yes, that's plural. A BlurbNation private customer penned a book of business knowledge for each of his two sons. The books were very similar, but each one was personalized for the son who is to receive it. I worked on this project with the author's wife. She sent me the text for the two books and the cover photograph via email on Saturday. Two days later, the books are complete.

New Book: Beauty and the Beast

Added to the bookstore July 15th.

This is an 80 page 10x8 book of photographs from the production of "Beauty and the Beast" as performed by The Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County.

New Book: The First Four Years

Added to the bookstore July 14.

This was a design for BlurbNation customer Rich Payne. Rich sent me his photos on a CD to compile into a special gift for his wife for their 4th Anniversary. What an incredibly sweet gift! Rich's book was a 40 page 8x10 book containing slightly over 150 photographs.

Rich emailed me that he received his book and is well pleased. He also wrote the following recommendation (thank you Rich!):

" To anyone thinking of having a book made, do not hesitate, Christine is helpful, patient, and very professional. I needed a book in a very short time as an aniversary present and she came through with flying colors.. 5 Stars to Christine.!! "

New Book

Every once in awhile I work on a book project that is of a personal nature and does not appear here or in my Blurb bookstore. I just finished one of those projects today for a brother and sister. It was a 40 page, 13x11 landscape book that contained 189 photos. The sister was so kind as to pen the following:

Christine was a delight to work with, and very patient. She offered her expertise to help with a time sensitive memory book for my father who is dying of lung cancer. Since most of our photos were scanned from older copies she had to touch things up to make them look better. Christine was able to strike the perfect balance between not giving too much advice on such a personal project, and offering suggestions that were just right. She creatively worked her magic to make our memory book just what we had hoped for!
